You're right, I'm a girl too :) my name is 'Eva' and I'm a first year student at the art academy in Antwerp.
I understand the english, mine isn't also that good... so it's a good practice if we talk in english ;)
I think you're right when you say that every girl had a kind of barbie in her mind.
But i think it's especially for the little girls. They see all the pretty fairy's and princesses in story's and they want to be like them.
It's a kind of a childrens dream to be like a princess.
So I made a lot of portraits of girls wearing their princess clothes to show the dream of the girls. This is one of them.

That litte girl in the last picture wasn't my sister. She's the daughter of my mom's colleague.
I have a 14year old brother, you'll see him in one of my pictures. Do you have a brother?
The house was very simple yes. Almost every house was like that, it's the belgium simplicity ;)
The most houses here are not coloured a loth i think.. a little boring haha.
How are the houses in china?
I don't take pictures of myself haha, but I found one with me on it....

I have a brother,too.But my brother is 24years old now,he always bullies me,(T_T)especially when I was young.
I like the simple style which your houses are,the houses in china are more complex,i think.
For example,my mother very love flowers,and my father like gallant style.
So my house is a warn-flower-gallant style house.
I am in school now,and usually go back home once a month,so I don't have my house photo in my computer.
But I have a photo which can see the one of corner in my house.

The other is my best friend,we have been the best friend for seventeen years.
It's taken on Chinese Spring Festival,just two months ago.

You only go home once a month? Is that for every student? Here it's normally that the students go home every weekend (like me).
It's difficult to chose who you are one the picture haha. I need ti guess... Are you the left one? :)
I don't know the spring festival. How do you celebrate it? Do you have a picture of it?
Today I send a new picture. It's about art in belgium. This is a famous graffiti artist. Do you know her?
Her name is ROA and she lives in Gent. She makes all kind of animals on walls and buildings.
I think it's special and i like animals, so that's why i shared it with you. |

If I wanna go home,I can go home every weekend.But I must take an "almost two hours" bus to go home.
So I usually go home once a week.And my home is nearer than other students' home.
The other province's student can only go their home twice a year.
If I go home twice a year,my mother must very miss me and call me everyday,heyhey~
The building in belgium has a big difference from china,it seems chinese prefer the more complex one.
But I like the style you are,maybe I know too many our style.
I think a lot,what's the feeling when you see our building or the chinese?
May our feeling are the same when we see the fremdness?@_@
Well,you have family party in christmas,so do we in spring festival.
But we go "拜年"(bài nián).We go to our relatives' home,one after one.
And we prepare many candies and fruit and more food when others go our houses to"拜年".
It's a very large get-together.So you'll see your relatives besides whom you long time no see.
I only have a family photo in spring festival.
It was taken in the first day of spring festival,you know china has a very big population.
So you can see,oh,so many people~;)
