This website is the result of a collaborative workshop between the photography departments of the Art Academy of Guangzhou in China (GAFA) and the Art Academy of Antwerp in Belgium (KASKA). The two institutions have run an exchange program since 2012.
For this project several local and Chinese students worked in Antwerp, and a number of Belgian students traveled to Guangzhou. The same documentary assignment was given to the students in both locations with the aim of providing an insight into the everyday life of two cities on different sides of the globe.

The Guangzhou workshop was co-ordinated by Bert Danckaert and the Antwerp workshop by Peter Boelens.
